Direct Entry Captain | Embraer ERJ 135/145
The ERJ135/145 Captain, is responsible for the safe conduct and overall operation of the flight, in accordance with the company’s Standard Operating Procedures. This includes adherence to all procedures, limitations, and performance requirements applicable to the role of Pilot-in-Command.
𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀, 𝗞𝗻𝗼𝘄𝗹𝗲𝗱𝗴𝗲 & 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲:
• Matric/Grade 12.
• Valid (SACAA) Airline Transport Pilots License (ATPL) with IF Rating.
• Multi-crew operations qualification.
• Valid Radio Telephony License and LPR4 or higher.
• A minimum of 3000 hours Total Time of which at least 500 hours shall be PIC hours (may include 200 hours PICUS).
• A minimum of 300 Jet or Multi-Turbine PIC hours (which may include 200 hours PICUS) or 500 hours Multi Engine PIC.
• 750 hours on type – E135/140/145.
• A minimum of 100 hours on Jet > 5700kgs MAW.
• Must be a South African Resident or have a valid work permit to work in South Africa.
