A bit off piste, but is the MPL now the only recruitment avenue with TUI?

Can anyone tell me the start date for this year's programme and also the date when they let you know you were successful or you received your contract. I have a 3 month notice period at work and based on the rough timeline on the website this may be problematic.

I would be making plans to make sure you don’t let a three month notice period jeopardise your chance of a lifelong career flying aircraft..!

Have a google, unless you’re the BBC Director General you can just stop turning your for work and nothing will happen.

Hi yes I'm going to ask my friend who is involved with HR legal. From what I have read they could take you to small claims court to recover costs but that is very unlikely.

They could yes, absolutely. But assuming you’re not at FTSE 100 director level, going straight to a competitor…

Pilotassessments.com was very helpful, also their forum.
There's no TUI MPL package on Pilotasessments.com, what would you recommend using? I currently have the BA Speedbird one. Should I also get the normal TUI pilot assessment?

Is there a significant difference between the TUI and Speedbird packages? I was under the impression that the tests would largely be the same (on PilotAssessments) and you can glean the structure/types of tests just by reviewing the TUI page.

Hello, thank you for the advice! What else should we prepare? Is it just those assessments and learn about the company for the interviews?

Hot off the press

TUI MPL Discontinued for 2026

We originally planned to open our 2026 intake early in the New Year, with pilots from this group going on to fly our customers on holiday from 2028. After careful consideration, we’ve decided not to run our MPL Cadet scheme in 2026.

We know many of you have met us at careers events over the past year and have already started preparing for the selection process, so we wanted to be open and clear as early as possible. Based on our current plans, the TUI MPL scheme is not required to meet our pilot demand for Summer 2028.

Please keep an eye on this page of our Careers site for updates on future opportunities. In the meantime, the team wish you every success in your career journey and we hope to see you in the future.
Best wishes,
The TUI Airways MPL Scheme Team

Not surprised tbh. The amount of cadets at Leading Edge tagged by them is unreal.
