They seem to have started earlier this year with sending out the invitations for the online assessment I read on Telegram in the Aer Lingus pilot assessment group.

It's for the Cadet scheme. I received something that said "we will review your application blah blah... Expect answer 2-3 weeks after 10th of April"

Minimum Age

Why is the minimum age 18 before 10 April? Shouldn’t it be that as long as you are 18 by the course start date it is fine to be 17 at the application stage?

Hey guys, does anyone know what happens if you have an error at one of the assessments? I did all of them but the Spatial Orientation one got stuck and it told me to contact support. I wrote them but I am worried about how much it will take for them to respond, because my deadline is today at 1830... Anyone had this issue until now?

They have to be either 2 people from your workplace, (coworker, boss), or, if you don't have someone at work, 2 people with whom you are very close.

3rd of April is the closing date for the Direct Entry FO positions. Not applicable to the Future Pilot Programme for which applications close on the 10th

I completed the online assessments last weekend. All pretty easy except for the verbal reasoning. I really don't like that one

How long after submitting your application have people been getting invited to the online assessment centre?
You get 3 days to complete the online assessment centre, is that 3 days from the time you receive the email, open the email or literally press start on the tests itself?

To be safe, I’d assume it’s 72hr from the date and time on the email but leave a little bit of fat at the end just to be safe😉

Does anyone know if you have to submit full references in the initial application or whether you can just submit contact details of two referees on your CV?

You can just list the contact details of the referees in the CV as normal. I’ve done it last year and there was no hassle with that. Best of luck with the application!!
