Thats my misunderstanding in that case my apologies! I thought the flight school was a virtual assessment as that’s what it says on the skyborne website here

It seems that indeed the Cut-E portion will be online and if successful will be invited to attend the in-person portion of the Flight School assessment at Waterside!
Following this will be the BA assessment which also has group exercise and interview taking place at Waterside.

I would assume so, yes. I immediately did get the next assessment after the maths one. Sorry to hear.

Fair play to anyone that is actually able to answer those maths questions in the 17 minutes provided, if you did, your talent will be wasted at BA. The practice questions aren't quite the same standard as those in the actual exam. I fear a lot of people will have wasted their time putting together a brilliant application for it to be rejected around 30 minutes later.

Most of these application process and tests are sometimes luck.
I felt really confident I made it to the next round with Aer Lingus had a brilliant CV, Cover letter, did well in the test (I think). Currently work in the aviation field as an engineer but unfortunately didn’t make it through.
I don’t know what recruiters are looking for in this field, people with aviation experience or people with no aviation experience. There’s loads of people with aviation experience such as PPL pilots, cabin crews, airport workers etc are not getting through even doing well in the tests etc.

I got a rejection email as soon as I submitted the last test.
I saw the following on the Instagram page of a lovely lad that keeps his ear to the ground on this for everyone. Perhaps a sliver of hope for people who feel hard done by.

Apparently some people who timed out during the tests are getting the opportunity to take it again - I hope the test they do is completely different otherwise this seems like an unfair advantage, given that they've already seen the contents of the test and have two extra days to complete it (until the 27th)

Does anyone have the contact mail to report any technical difficulties with the tests? Taking 15 seconds or so to load questions is just not really on. On a good internet connection. Like a third of the time spent loading questions! Timed out with one to go.

Let’s be honest, this must be one of the largest if not THE largest recruitment event anyone could imagine.
I have huge respect and admiration for everyone working behind the scenes to make it happen.
If you’re one of the ones who emailed in to report technical difficulties, I can see why they might give people a second chance. They won’t want anyone to be disadvantaged - or to be able to claim they were disadvantaged - because of slow IT at the BA end.

thank you my darling, it happens it’s just not my time and that is okay!! Good luck everyone I won’t lie I found the maths test so challenging I got an A in maths in school and still found it challenging it think it’s the time frame but I totally understand why they make it hard being a pilot is a very complex job and u need to work under pressure in limited time frames so it makes sense!! But I did find it super duper challenging obvs not the time for me but gonna keep going and keep practising. Good luck everyone see yous in jan for tui wink wink lol

On the subject of previous ATPL exam passes... does it make a difference if they were 15+ years ago? Clearly expired and of no current use, but still held on record somehow?
