Honestly, I found the tests 'easy' - but I'm comparing that to Aer Lingus where there was way more and they were quite challenging imo. Was especially glad there was no verbal reasoning with BA. Maths I got through them all but barely, had a few seconds to spare. Sorry to hear they are rejecting people based on not finishing - usually with these things there's some expectation you won't get through them all and a bit of leeway.

I did it all between about 1930-2230 last night so maybe the rush had quietened down a bit? Website was a little laggy at times but the tests all ran ok. No rejection today from the final test so let's hope I've made it to at least being screened by a human!

Hi guys, how did you receive the links for the different tests? I submitted my application yesterday at around 3pm and I still haven't received them (nor a rejection email).

Were the links emailed to you or accessed via the BA application portal?

Supporting Docs this early?

Did anyone disclose the fact they were knocked back from Aer Lingus?

Also, I don't have my GCSE test results to hand but I have since requested them. Has anyone been able to complete the assessment's without uploading the supporting documentation in the initial questions?

A friend of mine had this scenario and did this, he got through to the initial assessment stage (maths etc).

Thanks for letting me know! Annoyingly, having been knocked back from Aer Lingus, I am rather worried about putting a foot wrong and suffering the same fate. I think absolutely everything is taken into consideration lol

Well, I thought I did well with my application, I did the SJT. As soon as I submitted the answers I got a rejection email. Gutted.

Christ, just finished the assessments and I was automatically binned! Whaaaaat? lol I can't say I'm not gutted. I wonder if they registered the fact I clicked away from the window to read an email?

Anyone waiting to do the assessments, just stay on the window you have opened and don't click off it for any reason. See if that makes a difference...

They aren’t from it, and to be honest people need to remember we’re all in competition with one another. Giving each other unfair advantages isn’t the right thing to do. People shouldn’t be sharing anything about any tests on these forums, as harsh as that seems.

I definitely clicked off to use the calculator a lot so I don’t think you failed for that.

Does anyone know if there is a central email address / contact for questions? I'm basically just wondering when the 'Flight School Assessment' is likely to be in October, and if it'll be in person or virtual - I've got a pre-planned family holiday end-October so just want to understand if this is going to cause issues before going much further / wasting their/my time.

I agree!! But I think you sayin they ain’t using cut E assessments is incorrect I believe they are using Cut E assessments. I’ve not done it yet so I don’t know but I think they are using similar ones

I’ve done them, it was all through their own website and there was no Cut-E / AON branding or anything anywhere. It wasn’t like any I had seen before - but then I haven’t done loads. Either way, they’re fairly basic tests and you shouldn’t really need to practice for them.

The Cut-E tests come after the video interview as part of the flight school assessments.
Flight school assessments are 2nd week of Oct to 1st week of Nov according to what they said on the last Teams call. They will take place in-person at Waterside.

slightly incorrect there. The flight school assessments will take place in October that is correct. The BA Assessments take place at Waterside in November. They’re two separate assessments

Yes. I made no mention of the BA assessment (also at Waterside) because that wasn't pertinent to the question asked above.
From the notes I made on the last Teams call, the flight school assessments will also be taking place at Waterside.

Thats my misunderstanding in that case my apologies! I thought the flight school was a virtual assessment as that’s what it says on the skyborne website here
