Smartwings pilot recruitment
Hello guys,
I would like to ask you if there is someone among of you who works as a pilot in Smartwings or has taken part in a pilot assessment in this airline. I got invitation from them for the assessment and I have a few questions.

just saw today that the TR must be self-funded if not type rated on the 737. do they mean that you have to pay for the whole 737 TR? because if that's the case RYR might be a better choice to go for.

Yes, RYR is better in this case.

Did you guys get a "application accepted" type of email first, or were you immediately invited to the assessment? Just got the "we are reviewing your application" type of email.

Same here. Just get yeasterday an application accepted mail. To those who have been invited.... Did you receive an "application accepted" mail before ? Thanks for answering :-)

on 5th September i git a reply ...
Dear Madam, Sir,
we are happy to hear that you would like to work for us as NT Rated First Officer. I can confirm that we have successfully received your documents and you are now part of the selection procedure.
We will let you know about the outcome as soon as we evaluate your suitability for this vacancy.
Wishing you all the best and looking forward to our possible cooperation in the future,

The assessment days were fixed, from 10 to 16 of October, so my guess is that they are evaluating all candidates and they will get back to us with a date within this window
