To those in today, good luck.
if anyone is feeling generous and feels like throwing up some gen afterwards, there are those of us who would appreciate it.
Thanks and I wish everyone the best.

Is Aerlingus still recruting? friend of mine just back from ME and considering options over here. Aerlingus seemed good before but salary is atrocious. Non Rated bringing home 3k ish a month is less then a cabin crew.

They are not, and if they do likely at the tail end of the year. Realistically you're looking more at 3.5k take home, and that's including 6k going into your pension at the beginning (annually), with the company putting in double that.

3-3.5K max net.
pension is a good as your health if you make it till 65.
The double your contribution which is true, but the working 5-3 and 5-2 flex with 10+yr to command being a flap operator and be told what to do, I don’t think its for everyone.
Huge percentage of DEs that rejoined in the last recruitment are already leaving for better T&Cs.
Im sure you have seen their company FD etiquettes shared online.. Picking up trash and hailing the CPT, no thanks

Maybe same company... our fresh CPLs are getting that and they don't have Dublin living costs. AL recently announced recruitment for cabin crew and the salaries are a disaster! Less than the low cost by a decent amount.

What's been quoted is accurate for a year one non type rated FO. The salary increases yearly though and the performance pay (end of year bonus) can be very good if you fly a lot. Pay for captains is competitive with just about anywhere in Europe. A Type rated FO would be taking home roughly 4500 per month year one
