Is this a cadet program with a letter of engagement? As it’s not clear in the article

Nope. It seems like just an advertisement from the flight school. It is not sponsored for non-UAE citizens. Costs 181k USD. Not emplotment guarantees with Emirates or flyDubai.
They propose to sign a contract with Emirates Flight Training Academy, not Emirates airline.

You can register there and read all T&Cs.

Maybe this topic should be moved to "Professional Pilot Training".

Wow, 181K for a frozen ATPL? Is that the price these days? If you pay that off over a 20 year timeframe, that is 750 dollar per month if there is no interest! It sickens me.

Price - wise, I guess its driven by the costs of the training aircraft - ab-initio on the Cirrus and advanced on Phenom jets.

I mean weren't EasyJet cadets paying 130k sterling for their MPL? I guess that's around 170-180k USD.

As an exclusive initiative by Emirates for the Emirates Flight Training Academy, graduates will now have the opportunity to apply for a flying career at Emirates. Interested candidates will be required to pass the selection process put in place by the airline.

If anyone know what this means ? Does it mean that it’s a cadet program with a job at emirates if you successfully passed the program? Or it means that you can just apply at emirates if they need pilots after the training?

I mean does it contain conditional job offer like any cadet program?
