Aussie moving abroad to France or Switzerland
Hey all,
Just wondering if anyone has any experience or advice on converting an Australian CPL MECIR to EASA and being able to find wok with 1000hrs single time, specifically France or Switzerland. Fluent in french and english, but only an Australian passport.
Is it possible to get a working visa easy enough?
Also is distance learning the 14 ATPL subjects possible?
Any other insight from those that have been there done that or tried and failed will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

You could try to become a flight instructor. My flight school (not in the countries you listed) has provided two flight instructors with working visa, but that's not very popular.
I think the odds are against you without a EU passport.
Distance learning is possible, with different providers available.

Might be a case of applying/contacting companies with vacancies to see if they will sponsor I suppose. Easier said than done!
