How to survive Type Rating

Hi guys. Next month I will be doing my Type Rating for B777. I been looking through the B777 CBT for the last three weeks, but still I don’t understand some of it. I have all the file OMA, Fcom as well, but didn’t have time to look through it yet. Please can anyone advise me what I will be facing in this Type Rating training and what should I prepare in advance. Thank you

I wouldn't worry at all, just take it as it comes. The time allocated for a type rating is sufficient to be able to pass the skill test. I'm now just finishing a Boeing type rating myself (flew a turboprop before), had no problems whatsoever. The only tip is focus on company/ Boeing procedures and not the technical knowledge - I tried to reaally study the CBTs and systems, however in the end ran out of time and still forgot a lot; technical knowledge is necessary, but will come with time, so don't worry.

Most importantly, enjoy it!

Thank you

Thank you very much sir. I’m just worried, since this is my first type rating and I heard that training in Singapore will be tough.
