Wings Alliance Whitetail Cadet Programme 2018/9

Just saw this on Pilot Career News website:

"The Wings Alliance has launched a Whitetail Cadet Programme costing £59,000.

The 16-month, full-time, campus-based route is designed to get individuals used to two pilot operations early in their training. Time normally be spent flying solo on visual navigation exercises is replaced by more relevant two pilots, instrument flight rule, airline-style procedures.

Key features include:
- Exposure to a wide range of European airspace.
- Eligible to apply for a Training Bond to help spread the cost of training.
- More than 30% more actual flying time than an integrated cadet programme."

Looks really interesting and hopefully, this will start getting larger Whitetail providers to lower their prices.

Anyone got more information or any specifics or applying for this?

I don’t have any specifics or ever applied for this program but if I was in your position, knowing what I know now and wanting a position with an airline then I’d definitely go with WA.

As far as I am aware you donít actually do the training directly with WA but you do it through FTOs that are part of the alliance. They have the likes of Aeros and Stapleford as part of the alliance and they both have reasonable reputations.
