I know the 2015/2016 intake of cadets are in the latter stages of their training at the moment.

There have been some growing pains financially for West Atlantic after the merger, with delays to aircraft orders and the need to fulfil bigger contracts not helping. It does look like they are starting to stabilise and will hopefully look to reopen the scheme in some form or another, which would be fantastic.

Closed indefinitely for now. The last intake, though selected were sadly let down by West Atlantic in 2017 due to financial circumstances and were told to find other paths. Personally for their sake, I hope those people are invited to re-join first if they are still looking for a route into the industry, before you or I get a look in. Only fair.

oh no, that must have been awful to be in that situation. imagine that! quitting your job to do the sponsorship and getting told they are not doing it anymore. i guess they should invite them back when/if they start it up again. thanks for letting me know, i'll keep an eye out.
