I'm starting to hear some interesting differences from school to school at the end of what is traditionally the hiring season. Kura are claiming a very small pool, only 2 people according to their website whereas L3/CTC are reputed to have a holding pool of 100 and growing with only Wizzair and Royal Brunei recruiting from the pool, and many cadets being rejected.
Anyone know the sizes of the hold pools at CAE and FTE Jerez? Anything from the German and Dutch ATOs?

Having spoken to Jerez cadets, 90% and up either have jobs or have an interview within a month of their graduation. There is a wide selection of airlines hiring from there at the moment.

I have a mate who got Norwegian last year via Kura, they have sent 22 candidates and 20 got offers, CTC sent 20 and only 6 passed, that says a lot. I had the opportunity to visit them and watched a assessment prep day(it's a week long) and I am very convinced by their methods.
From the conversations I had with their trainees, those who didn't get placed were either unlucky or failed the technical part. That said, they were given opportunities to apply where its usually reserved to CTC/OAA/FTE. I am still thinking what to do but possibly will join then as CTC screwed me over.

Are MPL students included in the holdpool stats from L3, given that the type specific training with the airline forms part of the license? Can there even be any waiting around as an MPL student between the school and the airline?

there aren't many dutch ATOs left. All KLM flight academy students are going straight to KLM on long haul 747/777/A330 within a couple of weeks after finishing training. The holdpool is empty and KLM is actually hiring externally for the first time in over 10 years. KLM flight acadamy doesn't provide enough students for KLM needs. KLM flight acadamy only trains around 60 people a year.
AIS flight acadamy offers positions on the jetstream after finishing flightschool but quite a few people go to Ryanair or other airlines directly after finishing training. Some will go for the Jetstream program and most of them will stay at AIS or flybe/eastern.
I estimate that only around 100-120 pilots are trained in the Netherlands on a yearly basis. This compared to 500+ around 2012.... Big differences.
Major dutch ATOs that were notorious for big holdpools went bankrupt 3+ years ago (stella, NLS, DFA).

I thought NLS was now CAE (OAA) Amsterdam? I know in the not too recent past, they had a huge pool...well, at lot of students who couldn't find work at least (and many who never did) - not sure they really called it a pool. How about Martinair Flight Academy?

CAE amsterdam is used for typeratings only ever since 2015. Ryanair taking the biggest part of this. But they have more simulators there too for some more exotic aircraft.
Martinair flight academy trains very few people. Only a handful as far as I am aware of. Not sure if they actually have a hold pool of any sort, I don't think so. They do not really have any specific airline partners, however, they are known for good quality training.
