132,000 euro and 400 euro for selection - and we thought BA were bad
How high can prices go before these airlines/ATO's run out of people stupid enough to pay for these schemes - 150k, 200k, 500k?

While I agree that it is too expensive, at least this converts to around £119K but includes everything including flights to training locations, accommodation, transport, uniform, etc. whereas other training programmes do not include these costs which can be easily another £30K. Only meals are not included.
Still evil, but there's a silver lining.
Can anyone confirm expected FO salary?

20 per hour, 30 per day, after 500 hours 25 per hour, then increases again after 1k (those are for the 717,no idea about the airbus).
Considering the price of an integrated white tail course with oxford and the fact that no one guarantees you a job after that.. you pay more ( but still less than a type rating that you are going to pay anyway) and you have your job secured.

What's wrong with the programme anyway? Aside from the £119K cost, I mean...

€20/hr and €30/day, guaranteed 40hrs/month so that's a little over 12 months to get 500hrs then €25/hr and €30/day.... but how many days are you doing per months? With €20/hr and 40hr/month, that's €800 but then the question is how many days are you working? With 20 days/month, that's only 2hrs of flying per day for an additional €600. With 10 days/month, that's 4hrs of flying per day for an additional €300. Which one is it? €1100-€1400 per month for a year?
Wow.... I sure hope my math is wrong here....

Who supplies the 320 for base training? Its not listed on the website. With the current situation for pilots in Europe this deal seems to be the bottom of the barrel. I wonder if there is any real bonus in doing this sceme or if its a tactic to secure a cheaper sim from CAE?
I've only seen one roster for a Volotea A319 FO so it may not be normal but for August it was 17 flying days, just under 100 block hours and 130 duty hours. Will probably drop down quite a bit over winter.

I have contacted CAE staff regarding the type of contract that is proposed for the cadet.
Unfortunalty Volotea didn't give them these informations so they currently don't know the T&Cs or the expected roaster (min hours/year) or even if it will be a perm/seasonal contract.
The only thing that is sur is that if you pass the preselections the interview is guarenteed.
As i've been said, "We just provide the formation, what comes after is between you wand the airline".

T&C's
Probably,
permanent with 9 month ON, 3 month off during first year, then permanent.
+/- 85hrs in summer, 6 days ON, 3 OFF, sometimes 6/4, (+/-500h/6month)
low hours ( low-basic salary) in winter.(+/-30h/month)

Hey guys, I have recently got to Stage 3 with my Generation EasyJet assessment and unfortunately failed my interview. Now, Oxford got in touch with me and told me about this Volotea scheme I can merge onto. I don't have to do stage 1 or 2 as my ADAPT scores get passed on over to that so I just have to sit the interview instead of having to start from scratch so it sounded perfect. They told me the cost of the course and went on to mention that travel and accommodation are included as well as all your uniform and books, so it sounded really promising. But after reading about Volotea, I've grown to be a bit nervous about the company, I can't really find anything definitive about the salary and I heard someone mention something about being paid 20euro an hour for an SO2 for the first 500 hours. This sounds crazy low and barely enough to cover my loan repayments. Has anyone got any more information about the pay Volotea Pilot's get?

Hey mate, I got exactly the same situation as you. Decided to take the risk and go for it, so got a final interview this Monday. Also got the salary for cadets fresh from training. Let me know if you want the document
