Pilapt- Pattern Test
Hi all,
Quick Q regarding the selective attention exercise in PILAPT- does anyone know whether you're scored on the time it takes you to submit your answer?
I practiced with PAT, LPJ and did reasonably well, yet on my assessment day failed this exercise- which I had previously thought was one of the easiest!
Was thinking maybe it's due to me using up most of the 60 seconds before giving my answer?
Many thanks in advance!

Yes, I think it is a test of answering accurately and quickly. I've made that mistake of using the full 60 seconds before. You need to it as quickly as possible, but make sure you get them right!

..to add, at the same time don't rush it either. The whole pilapt thing is an accuracy test really. The same applies to the maths and other metrics.. it's not so much the number answered but how accurate you were in the time given. With that said though, on competitive schemes you may well be benchmarked against others so taking all of the time isn't neccessarily encouraged.
