It is my own experience. Despite I was bumping up my CV (or so I thought) by updating my skills and flight hours for 2 years, I wasn't invited until I re-applied with a new email. Ironically, by the moment I passed the interview my old application was still in status "active".
No-return algorithm is used in recruitment quite commonly these days, not only in aviation.

I hope you managed to make it in a cockpit somewhere!

From my own experience with Interpersonal I can say this: While they will tell you that you should not call or email them asking about the state of your application this is what eventually is going to help you moving forward. I would advise to refrain from closing or opening applications because the initial date of your application counts after all.
I actually once had an application open where I came in just short of the required hour minimum. It was reviewed and then set to "close" so you actually are informed if you're not suitable for the position.
If your application is still open you're eligible to be invited. Chances are the people on top of the stack are just calling more often than you are. It's a stupid system but if you want to succeed you'll have to play along.

To everyone who's preparing to their simulator ride: a very relevant video was published just yesterday, must see.
Note that in this video he has A/THR on. You will not have it in the sim, so expect even bigger workload.
The video shows a typical SID you're going to fly. Note the complexity of the SID. In your particular case the airport will be different, but expect the same complexity.
Also note that they use LIDO charts. If you're not experienced with LIDO take time to familiarize yourself.

There was a good method mentioned earlier, which is to cut out the different unfolded cubes to help you visualize easier. I for example found out, that doing this excercise on "Difficult" difficulty (for Skytest) is much easier than on "Easy", since you can see multiple sides at once...which in turn saves you some time as well.

Anyone know if they are actually calling people?
I applied in May 2025, keeping it updated, sent them an email in January and still no call to proceed to the next step, should I send a new application or wait?
