ATR Type rating plus line training scam or genuine?
Can anyone who has had experience with this individual named "John.S." advise us if this outfit is genuine or a financial scam? http://linetrainingatr.********.com/...ngatr.html?m=1

-- personal opinion, no experience with the outfit or line training programmes-
No reputable outfit would only accept bitcoins. Nothing against bitcoins, but you really want someone to be legally accountable in case you get scammed.
Also, why would he advertise as a line training programme, when it apparently includes a lucrative FO position at the end?
Start dates are in the past, so this blog has not been updated in quite a while.
Clearly states they won't even reply to your email unless you've already paid the booking fee. So they don't even want to give extra info to potential candidates?
-- I don't know mate, just seems to raise quite a few red flags in my book. If you're interested in ATR line training, you can get it at Farnair for example. (or are they ASL now?). They have a TR + line experience programme for 27 000€ (you get paid a salary ~2000€ after tax while employed on the line).

Any advertisement that refers to an ATO without giving the link to or a reference to an ATO number should be viewed with suspicion. Even refering to the now defunct TRTO term when referencing EASA is somewhat odd.
Also the type rating program is inconsistent with the latest OSD
