CTC Maths

Hi

Are there any particular style of maths questions to be practising specifically?

On skytest it covers the basics. Division, multiplication etc

There are also questions based on geometry and equations for rate of closure, Ascent and descent and rule of 3.

Will all these areas be asked in the test ???

Many thanks

Mostly quick mental maths, addition, subtraction, conversion rates, division etc. Not too stressful.

The pass rate is 12/15 I believe.

Good luck!

That's great. Thank you

And could you recommend any software that's close to replicating what may be asked ??

Hi !
There is no official pass rate ..
Some say 10, some 12.
Don't listen that .. Just concentrate yourself to be the best.
I don't know any software for that ..
It will be mostly divisions and multiplications.
Good luck

TecMath and Glad2Teach if I remember correctly are two general YouTube channels about mental math tricks. Pretty cool and simple stuff.

@flyveryhigh

I am fairly certain the passmark is not that high

@op

The math itself isn't overly hard, but doing it at speed is. This you will need to practice. It's what caused me to fail first time around and pass the second. practice doing addition/multiplication/division etc. as fast as possible. this is the only way to pass

Someone asked this about a week or so ago. Check out the maths question bank on PilotAptitudeTest.com, very similar to CTC.

Dw101,

SkyTest is good for Aptitude but the Maths test is at a level you will not experience at CTC. Some sites mentioned here already will be a good starting point on that front.

All the best.

Definitely practice on Hard or atleast achieve that level if you're using Pilotaptitudetest for maths. If you find them too hard to begin with, start on medium, but do what you can to master level Hard. PAT is good as if gives you answers + working out at the end of the tests however the questions are not very varied.
