You must have accidentally misinterpreted what I said. The advert is gone. I said nothing about the application in my profile.

Can anyone advise what are the actual conditions with Norwegian with regard to new low hour pilots gaining employment with them?
*what are the most common bases being assigned to new pilots?
*Is the pay similar or dissimilar to Ryanair, and if so, what exactly is the pay and when does it begin?
*is it possible to gain command as with Ryanair within four or five years?
Accurate Information greatly appreciated, no speculation or guessing please.

Is Norwegian still hiring non-type rated guys for 737 (not self-sponsored)??
This ad is still on there website and reads, "OSM Aviation, on behalf of Norwegian, are now looking for experienced, Non Type Rated First Officers with jet relevant experience to operate on our short haul fleet in Europe." and says "apply within as soon as possible".
Anyone know anything with regards to this? Thanks in advance.

Spoke to a pilot in NAS
(Spoke to a pilot in NAS)
As I understood: Theyre keeping everyone (whos haven't received any negative response after online assessment) in the pilot pool. they are currently prioritising pilots with experience on type, but will "maybe" be recruiting more cadets in fall. (Sept-nov)

Thanks so much for passing this info. There are guys who meet their "jet relevant" experience vacancy (but not much info on this forum about this).
I am curious if self-sponsored guys get preference over guys who are applying for the "jet-relevant experience" vacancy (presumably you dont have to pay on this one) - still being advertised on their site.

Hey,
I applied ages ago (back in April I think), and I also just got the same email as JQKA. I'm modular without jet (or any) experience so in this case the email is relevant.
Perhaps they've just emailed everyone who initially applied and didn't yet receive an invite to the tests?
Let's hope there's a real opportunity that still exists! 😃

I wonder if there are people that didn't get that email, or were flatout rejected, after completing the online tests. Seems rather meaningless to be told you're still in the process if they never weeded out anyone in the first place!

They just had at least one date of CTC's placement pool cadets. The results were given to candidates on Monday and I think they were a lot tougher than originally thought.

I never got any mail back after tests, however queried them about it and that was the answer:
Unfortunately, we are not able to let you know at this stage the status of your application. You will soon hear from Norwegian or the agency we are using again with either invitation to the interview or a rejection email.
Good luck with your application!
That was 3-4 weeks ago.
