QANTAS/Virgin Cadetships
Hi all,
Is work experience essential or desirable for gaining a placement in the cadetship? Due to the nature of my course (Aviation) and flying (3x a week), I was unable to work part-time.

Virgin took on cadets last year...
To answer your question, having work experience in any area where you can demonstrate teamwork, leadership, good communication and customer service skills will put you in good stead for any airline cadetship a, let alone Qantas or Virgin.

Would having no prior work experience degrade my chances towards getting a cadetship though? Yes. My ex boyfriend is a Virgin cadet. He told me there was an intake last year.
