Ryanair Cadet requirements

Hi everyone,

I've been reading pretty much all the information about Ryanair, their assesments, experiences of the people, etc....and I did use the search button.

They ask for two specific things, witch I don't have, nor there's a way I can't get them. First a flight report, and second a document showing that I passed all my exams at the first attempt. My flight school doesn't exist anymore, so even if I wanted to contact them, it is not possible.

I do have a document for my MCC, a document from DGAC stating that I passed all the exams and the dates, and from the school a breakdown of my flight hours and my CPL title, but that's about it.

Does anyone know if this would be "enough" or if they would be "flexible" with the situation?. I know here's no need for them, and I understand the requirements, they are quite clear. I'd just like some input from the inside or from someone with a similar experience.

Thanks everyone
Cheers

I would hazard a guess and say the document from DGAC showing the exam passes and dates would be good enough as this is what most people from the UK will probably show (the CAA version).

As for a flight school report, is your flight school completely shut down or did it change its name and owner? If the latter then you might be able to persuade the new school to do you a report.

Are you still in touch or can you get in touch with any of your instructors or staff that used to work at your flight school? It might be possible to geth them to do you a bit of a DIY report.

If that is not possible, I believe when a friend went through the process that they gave an email address that you could contact if you had queries about any of that stuff.

Is Ryanair asking for a mandatory first attempt pass in all subjects? As far as I know they were recruiting people with one fail in atpl theory and/or one partial fail in flight tests. Could anyone confirm that please

I had heard this too but going through pages upon pages in other threads on this site nobody has ever confirmed it.

Would like to know as I do have 1 ATPL theory fail- Gen Nav 72% first time round

I have read also on this site many people who have failed more than one ATPL and still been hired at Ryanair. It is frustrating because there is no way the ATPL exams are standard in all member states. For example some states students just need to learn the question banks well enough for an excellent average!!

My school is completely shut down yeah. I'm still in contact with one of the all instructor, but I don't know if he would agree to make up that report.

Anyone knows anything else about this flight report thing? Someone went through the process without it?

Hi SextanteUK,

Have you contacted the local CAA for the school you was with (in case it wasn't DGAC) for your reports? Maybe it works the same as it does in the UK.

If a school closes here all the training records are collected by the CAA and stored for a set period (no idea how long). If you talk to them nicely you might get them to look and make you a copy. I have had this done before for some of my former students.
