Aer Arann recruitment
Heard of a few guys getting calls from Sim Tech offering an interview for an ATR type rating, haven't heard much about any jobs at the end of it? Anyone know if this is just a type rating selling exercise or are Aer Arann recruiting through Sim Tech and this type rating programme?

From the emails I've got from the airline, it seems that you have to do the TR first (17000€), and then maybe or maybe not, you'll be placed in a holding pool and get an interview with Aer Arann should any positions become available. Apparently they've transferred all the assessments to SimTech...

Ive heard something similar happening with possible ratings being offered in the near future, can anyone elaborate on this? Anyone been through the self funded (17k) ATR rating with no guarantee of work? And how do you express your interest in such a offer?
