Jonathan Curd P2F Fightback

Seems like one of Curds customers has fought back.

Jonathan Curd The Airline Training Partnership Outstanding Debt

About time and a good move too.

Anyone know anything else about this?

Well, for one, I hope this person gets their money. £54,500 as of today.

Its about time P2F parasites realised the problems they cause. I'd love to know on what grounds though this has been fought. Maybe it will encourage others who have been victims of these scumbags to seek redress too.

Looks like things could get painful for Mr Curd.

Wow, he's a training Captain at easy. I'd hate to be sitting next to him on a flight after seeing this

This story is going through easy now. Many were aware of his shady operations but this seems to confirm that now.

Bet easy are really proud of him.

Don’t know the details behind this particular story, I believe back in 2008 or 2009 JC put his P2F people through 150hrs line flying at Easy, some of those P2F people got invited back by Easy for subsequent Summer contracts and were finally offered full time contracts. Some of those people must be close to consideration for command upgrade now so I suppose he does have some satisfied customers.

Never ceases to amaze me how small this industry is and how many people forget this and proceed to in their own backyard. No doubt a big neck is now required.

Another company delivering type ratings hours and a 'promise' of a job courtesy of curd et al. 'Only' £57K

And 70 out of 140 of them in easyJet.

They say that there is no such thing as bad advertising...

I wonder how many people will watch this video and think 'hmmm this guy sounds quite reasonable...?'

I thought he sounded like a dodgy used car salesman but to be fair I am starting to wonder how different this sort of thing really is from say CTC Wings. Say you were to pay £45k for modular training and then £57k to this chap. You have paid about the same amount as an CTC easyJetter once their type training contribution has been included and the result at the end is probably similar.

Now yes you may have stolen a job from a poor Greek FO at Hermes but then you could argue that the CTC cadet has also 'stolen' a job from a far more experienced pilot who would otherwise have worked for easyJet if they were not so cadet recruitment biased...

Actually, it sounds a much better deal than forking out +/-£15k for a 737-400 type rating at British Midland all those years ago, on the off chance that you might get a job with them if they fell in love with you.

Good luck to the guy getting his money back. I hope he manages it and it serves as a warning to anyone else attempting such underhand tactics as mr curd.

Curd is obviously a greedy person, simply after one thing, to feather his own nest and at any cost. Anyone should think long and hard before parting with any money to schemes run by him or anyone ever associated with him.

Nothing more than a common thief in my opinion.

Looking at that document, it seems judgement is against the company however, I'm wondering if the person bringing the claim is aware that curd as a director is also culpable.

I remember this scheme - he was claiming partner airlines were waiting to employee those that passed the scheme. Although a few went into easyJet, this number was far outweighed by those that didn't and were left high and dry.

Such dishonesty may apply to conduct by making a statement when knowing it to be false or dishonest. Where such a misrepresentation is made by a director on behalf of a company then the director is exposed to personal liability.

If I were bringing the claim, I'd ensure curd is persued personally too.

If I were curd, I'd now be looking to settle as soon as possible.
