Talking Love is in the Air | Eastern SkyJets Courts the innocent with its Cadet Programme

Ahh yes, isn't it adoreable when one courts the coy and innocent with sweet "nothings" and hope's to still score before payday(!).

Eastern SkyJets, all i have to say is ........." ...Awwwwwwww".....

For the record, the Skies Aviation programme with ESJ that runs on a few overpriced Emirates simulators, a few Romanian Instructors that have passed their prime and a contract with a company that continues to have its foot in the grave charges not Euro 50,000 per head, its actually 50K plus an additional 20 K for the type rating.

Apparently, well, according to a "Source" from the Bull-Pen, the Manc brothers have been made aware that the DFO and "Tonto" have their hands in the "cookie jar" and are waiting for the right time.

Maybe its time the "LoneRanger" and "Tonto" ride off into the Karachi Sunset??

According to ESJ (from the horses mouth), the Cadet programme apparently was stopped by the GCAA, so now let me get this straight, its taken a new form and shape?; Ahh yes, please refer to their Human Resources Department to know more about its new

Goodness gracious!. These lads sure seem desperate to pop up their own troll to defend their honour.

Give the devil its due, ESJ's the Cadet Programme makes sense if there's a lad from the "Banned" states of Sudan, Iran, Syria, Palestine or Pakistilia trying to find joint to hone his/her skills on the next best thing after Microsoft Flight Simulator and train on flying into buildings(!), but i really dont think it makes sense for those from more Secular, Sane and Sensible regions of the world.

Those who still would like to join up with ESJ's Cadet Programme and have found no where else in the world to build time and climb up the way that more of us have done(which includes also build and hone our pilot skills), let me know when you fly with me, i'll make my WILL sure there's two sky marshalls on board.

I would say no on the P2F. One because it's stupidly expensive and secondly because the airlines that do these schemes sometimes have horrendous safety standards. And yes, this will probably reflect on you when it comes to getting a job with another company.

500 hours isn't that much anyway, it's only a minimum requirement to other airlines so chances are it's not going to help you as much as you would like to believe.

I'm not trying to put you off to make way for myself as I'm already employed. I'm not a 50 year old Captain complaining about how P2F is ruining the industry, I only got my first job a few of months ago.

But if you are going to do it, I suggest doing it on a 737NG or an A320, purely because they are popular and the type ratings are more useful...as opposed to a Saab 2000 or something.

20 years!! and it seems you haven't learnt anythin! anythin!!

how dare you call our cadetship a P2F scam you know nothing about it skytodller, we have to charge our cadets a fee as there are costs to be covered!! simulators, fuel, safety pilots, uniforms, visas the list is endless and no we will not provide this to pilots for free!

ESJ pays salaries not too dissimilar to fly dubai so give it a rest mate
Wow I sense you getting very defensive in this post. Something you're hiding? Perhaps shame?

Don't you mean is being payed 60,000 to do a type rating and fly 500 hours too little?

Everyone just go to the interview and say: " oohhh I'm sorry, I understood you were going to pay me that amount... Thanks for wasting my time"
