Job search at international airshows?

Hello,

Is there any chance of finding contacts and getting a pilot job by going to the major airshows? I have never been to any as I don't live near by. I assume mostly airspace manufactures are present there. What about airlines?

It could be a good idea,

When I was searching for a job, I took 3 weeks off work. I travelled the UK, Personally handing out my CV, was a great way to make contacts.

The end result, 4 Interviews, 1 was working in the ops department for 1 year then a flying position, Second was practically the same, But I had to self fund a rating on the king air, Third was a small Biz jet operation.

Last but not least was a First officer position on the Bus which I took. (But this wasn't through networking) I applied online.

There is hope out there, Good luck

P.S took me just over 2 years to get a Flying position,
