Cadet/ab inito programs for American citizens?

American (soon to be) college grad, with FAA PPL, what (if any) options are there for me, cadet program-wise? No U.S. carrier that I know of offers one, and from all the European and Asian airlines I've checked they require citizenship of the country the airline is based in.

Right now the plan is to get the rest of my ratings through ATP flight school, but I wanted to make sure I wasn't missing any cadet programs first, because the idea of going straight to a right seat in a 737 sounds amazing

It might be worth looking at the recently announced CTC Qatar Airways MPL programme that was announced at their last open day. It is open to international applicants removing the need to be an EU citizen. Some information can be found here but i'm sure they will create a dedicated section on their website in due course.

Edit: Found this page on the CTC website where you can register your e-mail address to stay up to date: Qatar Pilot Training - Qatar Wings | CTC Wings

If you are in the US, be careful talking about skipping straight to the RHS of a 737 or people will start talking about SJS.

shiny jet syndrome

Anyhow, if you get your CPL on your own, you could apply to Cathay Pacific but it is not a type of cadet program that selects you before you start your basic flying training.

The other schools get you interviews. The pipeline program is the only one I am aware of that can get you a regionals job as a low hour CFI. Aerosim looks like a good place to train though
