arguably more feasible than forking out 20/30k for a type rating though which many other companies will charge? Plus once up and flying the basic salary for a second officer is almost 50k.

Certainly not disagreeing with you there. A good company to work for, and having run some numbers last night over the first 5 years it works out an awful lot more gross pay than the regionals.
Good luck to all those applying.

Apprentice pay is about 20K while on the scheme. I believe the scheme is also being shortened now slowly toward 6 months instead of 12+ (currently around 9 months).
Expect pay to jump to 49K the day you start the type rating.

Hi Folks.
Got through to the sim phase, scheduled for early march. Anyone else got the same?
Trying to gauge how many people going into sims for this “double intake” as if it were.

Is anyone still in the first stage of the application? I am still in the "application sent" status which seems weird as people are already getting rejected or getting offers. Wondering whether they forgot my application...

a little early to comment don't you think? I think all airlines are just hoping to survive as best they can at the minute.
I'm sure down the line when bookings explode and flights start up again then so will recruitment, the scheme has proved sound up to now so no reason for it not to continue in the mid to long term.

Hi everyone. My application is still on under review from 3rd December so still not sure what's happening as I've heard people have got into the scheme. Does anyone else know what's happening and do you think under review at this stage means I haven't got a chance?

And so are many more people. You aren't supposed to be "successful" with these tests, you need to fall in the average they want. Don't stress too much.
Personally I would screw it up with more than 6 or 7 moving objects.
