Self-Sponsored course

Hi there,

I've got a friend who requires financial help in his ab-initio course, would like to know if there is any other way to help besides a bank loan and selling of equity.

Help would be appreciated.

It's very simple, if you don't go down the traditional secured lending route, the money will be even more expensive. This means you definitely can't afford to do the course.

Why not save up first. How is your friend proposing to repay the funds in the likely event he does not get a paid flying job?

He actually has a job secured by the airlines, just that it is self-sponsored.

I have seen this kind of question before.

Do people really go through the sometimes lengthy application/interview stages of a self sponsored pilot job without a plan in place to fund it should they get through?
