CX Cadetship on hold for the next 12-24 months?
A friend of mine that has been recently accepted for the CX Cadet programme has informed me that applications and interviews for the next round of selections will be on hold for the next 12-24 months due to the delay in delivery of the A350's.
Apparently the ab-initio 61 week programme will still go ahead, but the 32 week advanced entry and 5 week transition programmes will be on hold.
Is anyone else aware of this that can give me further insight?

Yes this is most likely correct, but it is not down to any delays in the A350 but more the impending doom and gloom predicted for 2013. They initiated a hiring freeze in 2003 during SARS and 2009 during the downturn.
