Hi guys I know it's been a few years since anyone posted on here, but does anyone have any updates on the hiring situation at EgyptAir?
I tried visiting their careers site "careers.egyptair.com" but it doesn't appear to be working any longer.
Which newspaper is the ad for hiring pilots usually posted?
If they are still hiring pilots, do they still have the rule of being under 30, even if you have a bachelor's degree?
I'm in Canada and hope to get my CPL soon and would love to fly for EgyptAir.
The earlier comments posted that they don't require connections is encouraging!

Yes, I have Egyptian and Canadian citizenship.
Are they actively hiring pilots at the moment?
I couldn't find any posting online that they are currently hiring or will hire in the future.

Hey man considering your canadian citizenship, start your career in canada and dont look back. You can start your career in canada and eventually move to the Middle East and join Emirates,Qatar,Etihad, and the new Riyadh Air. Trust me becoming a pilot especially in Egypt is really hard and frustrating, I know someone who had to wait 8 years to get into Egyptair and finished in 2010 but couldnt get into the AD of 2012/2013 because he was doing his military service so he had to wait another 5 years, plus all the ones that entered in 2012 most of them are wasta, and to anyone considering becoming an Airline Pilot and wants to have a good quality of life and start working right away, consider Air Arabia in Sharjah, they have a really good program and youll start working right away and who knows a few years of hard work you apply to Emirates and get accepted and then your whole life is set.
