Question Would you choose 500h TT or 200h PIC?

Hello

I recently completed the integrated ATPL(A) and about to take the next step. I found best to raise a bit more my hours but I came to find two ways of doing it . In one I end with 500h TT mostly SIC and PICUS. In the other I end with 350h TT of which 200h are PIC.

I ask to anyone that has searched pretty deep the low timers market in europe (I wish better opinions based on real field search) what is best for banner towing, skydiving, air taxi and air photo jobs. For instance I heard that for skydiving I required minimum those 200h in PIC .

Thanks

the difference you talk about doesn't really matter, you should talk about thousand of hours...
worth to get 2000h or 1000h pic?.1000h jet or 2000h turboprop. Now we can talk.

best for you is to find a job first and not to worry abouth these 150hours missing in your logbook.

What is the style of flying as well, is it going to be in a turbo prop or air taxi op to get 500tt or is is flying with your mates in a da40/pa28 to get 200.

I would rather the 500 if it was a commercial op than just site seeing( nothing wrong in that tho)

Thanks!

In fact this is first to apply to a job because I can't find any with my 200h (or maybe I've been searching wrong ). Fresh out of flight school, I'm still in that wannabies struggle on how to get the next 100h or 200h in order to someone put me to some use . And my second option was more 150h in a C152 than any plane else .

Take the job that will give you the better contacts.

When you don't have a TR and 500h on a 737 or an A320, what gets you a job is being in the right place at the right time, and knowing the right people.
