CAE Profile Application Process Question

CAE Profile Application Process Question
Hi guys,
A quick question for those that created a profile with CAE in order to make applications.
1. The profile asks under the flight experience section:
Flight Summary
Total Flight Time (hours)* Total ME (hours)*
Does "Total Flight Time(hours) this only include time actually spent flying an aircraf, or does it mean all training time including that in an approved simulator?
2. Under the "Additional Information" section which allows you a maxmimum character limit of 1000; what are they looking for here. Is this some form of "cover letter" that they want or a "mini
Would be interested to know what others put?
I've tried to call CAE several times to speak to someone who can advise on this, but not having any luck.
