Global Cadetship Rumors & Prospects
Guys,
With BA and CX both now offering funded+bonded CPP for global pilots (well CX at least globally) is the any rumors with substance of other airlines offering similar global cadetships, similar to EY's, CX's etc?
Is it conceivable that this will soon enough become an industry trend?
Thanks in advance

Isn't the Emirates one for UAE nationals only? Either way i don't think we'll see many schemes because airlines know people who really want it will pay themselves.
To me the only benefit of these schemes is the potential guarantee of employment at the end, that's what your really paying for. Otherwise it's such a competitive route to take considering you could just do it all yourself without the stress involved and no doubt getting better value for money.
There is still no such scheme and never will be offering full training without you paying a penny so i don't think it really matters, paying yourself or with an airline behind you, the financial challenges will always remain and the airlines will want it to stay that way.

Well, there is a lot of good in knowing that once you finish your training you'll have somewhere to go to. Even if you have to pay for it, having an airline behind you feels a lot better than hoping for the best.
