I'm a fresher with an cpl license in india.

What should I mention in my resume seeking a position as

First Officer
or
Trainee First Officer

or are they same?

It depends on what position you apply for.

e.g. vacancy: First Officer
then i would write Objective: First Officer

But, I don't think you need to write any position seeking on a pilot cv. Google it, you will find lots of infos.

I would use neither, you are a commercial pilot.
If you use First Officer, some companies use the title to indicate you have a certain number of jet hours, others call you a second officer until you get a full ATPL.
I would just say commercial pilot.
The rest is just a title.
