AirBaltic

Hi

Did anyone apply to airBaltic ? airBalticPeople

I applied for their "Pilots" job offer and I received a negative response.
The requirements do not specify any minimum flight time and a Type rating is not mandatory.

I am a low hours pilot without any other flying experience than the one I got in my FTO. Total flight time (piston) 281h.

Anyone wants to share his experience applying with them ?

A friend of mine was invited for assessment not long ago.
Yet, he has around 4000 hours on B737.
I don't know about the recruitment of low hour guys.
Anyone?

Cheers

Why would that surprise you dan (world citizen).

Everyone wants their piece of the wannabe cake; and rightly so. Frankly you could charge double and come they will, in their droves

want 9000 euro?

then read this carefully

"If it is confirmed that the company is close to bankruptcy, there is such a notion as bankruptcy fraud, and that already carries a criminal penalty," stressed Kampars. The minister hopes that the state will not have to rescue the airline out as it had to bail out Parex banka.
you can sit on your 9000 euro

Hi All,

In light of the link to the article in the previous post I was wondering if anyone has been through airbaltic recently with regards to type rating training and could comment on how much substance there is to the allegations of impending bankruptcy.

I'm interested as I am seriously looking at undertaking type rating training with them in the near future and naturally the above article makes me slightly nervous!!!

Thanks in advance,

Boomerang

Utter cobblers; the Air Baltic finances are in extremely good order.

Definitely are good place to invest in type training and work.

Splendid people and a first class product.

Pardon my french, but how come?

Tero Taskila left to Estonian Air, Latvian government investigating currently financial matters between Flick and some criminals, 1st qt result was net loss over 28M LVL and Q8s which already bought by AB were sold to leasing company and leased back to create some cash for cover everyday expenses. Only big red balloons and hot air..

I would not bet my money, but I'm too cautious usually.

I know someone that has been chosen for an assessment on the B737 (paid by AirBaltic), he was successful but not called for job yet, strange.

AirBaltic recruitment and bonding contract

Hello everybody

I'm new here, but I decided to register to put a question to all the community.
I've recently received an email from AB offering me taking part of a recruitment process, consisting in doing the A320/B737 TR through their AB training ATO, and a 5 years bonding contract afterwards. There're no tests or assessments before, only filling in the confirmation form, Skype interview and if satisfactory, do the TR, and afterwards as a guarantee of assessment and to definitive contract access, doing the base training. according to that, they'll adjust the contract terms and conditions. The starting salary and roster are incredible good (maybe too much?)
Does anybody received such kind of offer, and if so and accepted, can you explain how is it?
Thx for reading

Talking airBaltic cadets online assessment

Hi
I have the airBaltic's online assessment coming up very soon, I just wanted to ask if anyone got some info about how should I prepare for it.
I also know that the math & physics are high school level but is there anything special/different?

Thanks

airBaltic Training Pilot Academy assessment - help

Hello all!

I have created this thread because there is little to no information to be had about the selection procedure of airBaltic Training Pilot Academy.

I want to apply for the programme in one to two months, but I will want to find out more about what to expect. AirBaltic has indeed indicated that there will be several assessments, but I need more content. Can anyone give tips and tricks? Possibly share websites/files/notes that are hugely similar to the assessments?

Example: it is said that during your first assessment, you will be tested on beta-subjects. As a preparation, I cannot imagine that for this you need to know the whole book from your primary school because even in primary school, the level in which the beta-subjects are given, varies enormously with the primary school level you're in.

As for this, I would love to hear who has done the assessment and would like to talk with me about it!
