Need some advice

Hello everyone,

I'm currently at university in U.K doing Aviation technology with pilot studies. I got my JAR PPL last year. I recently did the Flight dispatcher course from Emirates college to get some more knowledge of the subject. Was quite helpful. I've still got another year left at uni. My plan is to get into commercial flying. Not to sure how, or where to start after university. I was looking into some of the cadet programs, applied to Cathay, but guess it's not easy to get into it. I'm Indian by origin, so my options in the cadet program are limited, as I don't think Kingfisher or spicejet have any cadet programs anymore. Would love to get into one though. What do you suggest?
Thanks for your help in advance.

You might be wondering why the response to your thread is sooooooo luke warm.

There's a thread like yours about twice a month on this forum and I'm starting to think that other ppruners are getting justifiably bored with typing out the same old advice and thoughts.

Suggest you make yourself a cup of coffee and look back over the last year or so on 'Interviews, jobs and sponsorship'

My bet is you'll have more advice than you can handle before your drinks gone cold.

Good luck.
