NG FNG,

I have recently finished my ME/IR & CPL and also decided to look at the cabin crew route. I applied to Flybe and I appeared to meet the criteria, but was also very honest in my application about the fact I had just finished my training. I tried to put it across that working as Cabin crew would give me a greater appreciation of what they did, but my long term goal was to get onto the flight deck. Within 3-4 days I had my rejection email thanking me for my application, but not even an interview. I emailed back asking if there was any possibility of feedback as to why i wasn't suitable and they said due to high volume of applications they get, this wasn't possible.

Take from this what you will and i know many licence holders are working as Cabin Crew, but i know at least 2 who have told me they didn't tell Flybe about their licence on application.

Good Luck

Thank you Taufiq, Lion Air won't be interested when they have P2F guys available to them and the other website has no vacancies.

I appreciate the heads up though.

Best.

Hey

If your a good person and you fit in the company profile than it will always be an advantage if you work on other positions before getting into the cockpit. This only proves your wide interest into aviation!!!

A few post above, somebody is saying she had a bad answer from FlyBe. Other people got in because they didn't tell them about their licence... Sorry but the last thing you should do is Lying about this on an intervieuw. Maybe your profile just didn't fit in the profile for Cabin Crew.

Good luck and keep on flying (and smiling)
