Yet another school related question

Hi guys

Just finished my first exams

In science we are now looking at future carrers and namely the university end. I was wondering what you guys took at uni for your degrees or wether you even took one? I was thinking of doing pure physics because it is not to specallised just incase another recession hits but is still relevant to flying. What do you all think? your feedback is much anticipated by me and my class

Many thanks guys and girls

Physics,Chemistry,Elect,Mech,Chem Engineering basically anything which involves doing maths for a couple of years.

Jobs which seem to sit nicely with training and flying are pharmacy and Opthalmics (sp? Optician) the pilots I know that that used to do them seem to be able to take it or leave it when money gets tight with locum work which seems very well payed.
