Boeing 737-300 Sim
Hello fellow pilots,
I am based in the UK and would like to fly in a Boeing 737-300 simulator does anyone know where I can hop into one for 1 hour for a reasonable price?
Cheers,
Airmiles

have a look at these pay to fly schemes (dont buy into one)
but during there 'interview' (ie the bit where they spend all day asking if you have 30k) you get an hour on a 737/a320. you still have to pay for there assessment, but its probably cheaper than doing it off your own back.
dont feel bad about abusing the system, they abuse there cadets all the time!

European Skybus Limited
has a B373-200 series, at bournemouth airport
European Skybus Limited - Welcome
they are very good there and prices are very low to..... which is always a plus. I believe its still a type rating simulator, but you will need to check, because they got rid of there aircraft (B373-200 and Be146) a year or two ago.
60mins £270 on a B373-200
30min £150 " " " " "
these prices man have got up since, i was there, before the VAT rise
hope that helps

[QUOTE][5 axis /QUOTE]
I understand that it is the type of motion base it is fitted with.
Maybe someone with more tech knowledge can explain.
I just had a look at the OAA website and the sim has a CAA certificate as a 6 axis sim. Sounds better.

be carefull, with too cheap simulators.
you could find they are not appovered by the CAA.
and that you can't log the simulator time to your log book, which in other words is pointless.
plus what about the paper word, i.e. working out speed, weight & balance, flight plans, and your route. most appovered CAA places will run you through this on the brief, before just jumping into the simulator.
i think i-Pilot is one that is not appovered by the CAA, and its a fixed base as well.

IPilot Flight Simulator Gift Experience - Bluewater Kent Flight Simulator Gift Experience
prices satrt from week days £156 an hour.
but FULL mot simulators for B737 are the norm, so why any one you save on cost to fly fixed base.
Check it out to make sure its appovered by the CAA, you don't want to learn bad things/ wrong things.. if you havn't got a Type rating already.
hope that helps

Full Motion Simulator
Hi All and Airmiles,
Airmiles, we have sent you a PM - please have a look.
We offer full motion flight simulators for Boeing and Airbus - all are Level-D CAA Certified - have a look at our website
We have a great deal of experience in this sort of thing, and as full motion flight simulators are not cheap, even if you are not able to book a session, we would be more than happy to offer free help and advice.
Hope that we can be of help to all those budding pilots......
