Had an interview for First Officer postion in Jan and I am lead to believe I was successful. As I have less than 2000 hours, I am just waiting for Qatar to sort out approval to take guys with less than the 2000 hours which I am told they are dealing with. I have been told I will be contacted in the very near future.

Can you tell us how long it took for QR to get back to you after your initial application and once again after your interview?

Did you apply for FO position or SO position? there is not much info available for the SO position on Qatar's web site.

Is the ATP requirement a fact for the SO position? A CPL/ME/IR won't cut it? Im just curious if this was said by the HR person at QR or if these are just rumors. Thanks!

Despite numerous emails and calls to Qatar, i've not managed to find out anything. I'm not sure they're taking any on at the minute. I applied via the website earlier in the year but heard nothing back.

Apparently the interview has been postponed with no dates as of now.... This is because some backlog in captains interview....
