Hey thanks guys,
I'm sorry, I know Etihad has its initial test as psychometric, I was under the impression even Cathay has it, anyways i'm preparing the technical part. just waiting to get a call for stage 1 , has been 3 weeks since i applied and haven't heard anything yet, I know its a long wait.

Yes, Etihad had 3 or 4 tests that could be considered psychometric. I supposed you may call the reasoning test a psychometric test to a certain extent, but it is dissimilar to many others.
Also, as you said it can be a long wait but dont worry, good things come to those who wait! I waited 13 weeks for a call, but it came, I know theres people who have heard in less, and people who have waited longer and still not heard. If its meant to be, it will happen, but it looks like you have the right idea in starting to prepare now.

Thanks for that, I got officed an interview for the 5th in UK london, but I am in HK at the time. The HR guy said that I can do it in hk when i am over. But still haven't confirmation.

Hi all,
Is someone from HK has more chance than someone from an other country like France or England???
And someone told me that if you're not from the navy or Us Air Force or any army you lose 50% of your chance is that true???

I highly doubt the fact that if your not from the US armed forces it reduces your chances.
It is a cadet programme, implying that all candidates would of had no or little formal flying instruction.
Just out of interest, does anyone know how many people are bieng interviewed in the UK?
