BA CityFlyer Ltd - British Airways Plc, Embraer 170 and five Embraer 190SR

Efficiency having something to do with their speed. Also the reason why they didn't get the Q400's due to the Embraer's being faster and meaning they need only 11 rather than the original plan for 12.

If we're still restricted below FL100 than I would say 5 min tops.
But on those MAD, WAW, and future long range routes it would certainly make a difference opose to M.070 for the RJ.
Still, it's going from a horse and carriage (no offense) to a brand new porsche. Vast differences on comfort, operating reliability, fuel efficiency etc etc

Even with their fancy new paint scheme, the Embraer 'in-efficiency' jets just weren't getting of the shelves for some reason.....
Riiiiight...............
That will be why the E-jet series is currently one of the fastest selling-types in service.
