Conversion of fATPL
Hi folks,
If there is a thread on here already covering this then I apologise!
I wanted to ask what is involved in the conversion of a UK issued fATPL to its US equivalent? Is this an easy process? I am looking to start training in autumn '09 and cannot really find a definitive answer (training for me must be UK based).
Is there a bias in the US to US trained nationals over others ( I am Irish by the way....)?
Any and all answers appreciated.
Pat

Try searching the FAA website for the conversion of a CPL with IR. The UK CAA doesn't issue fATPLs.
You can only convert like for like. Unless you hold an ATPL, your ATPL exam credits will not be "recognised" by the FAA.
