Question Covering letter help

Morning all,

Was hoping for a little help.

I've spent ages writing and re-writing the basic layout for the covering letter I use (which I obviously then adapt to each place I'm writing to), but having sent it off to a few places, and THEN reading lots of covering letter threads on pprune, I've now adapted it to something that seems to conform a little more to what is expected. Thing is, I've spent so long looking at them, I can't really tell which one is better... and I'm not entirely comfortable with the new version.

The last thing I want is to miss out on opportunities (which are obviously becoming increasingly rare!) just because my covering letter isn't up to scratch, so I'd rather get some advice from those in the know.

If any Chief Pilots or those with previous or current recruitment experience would be prepared to have a read of both and give me your feedback, it would be most appreciated if you would drop me a PM.

Many thanks

CS
