The successful candidate for this Montreal-based position will perform repair level inspection in accordance with applicable maintenance manuals. Additional responsibilities include: determine part condition for return to service and assure compliance to applicable technical standards, established company standards, contractual obligations and airworthiness regulatory requirements; performing engine sub-assembly, final assembly, and analytically troubleshoot engines during assembly and test; independently manage projects from dismantling to final release; provide exemplary service to our numerous customers.
Candidates must possess thorough knowledge in and/or a demonstrated ability to learn the dismantle, assembly, balance, inspection, and testing of Rolls Royce 250 series engines and have a high degree of mechanical aptitude as well as working knowledge of relevant equipment, procedures, limits and trouble shooting methods. The ability to read, understand and interpret schematics, graphs, charts, blueprints and other technical information, as well as being knowledgeable and proficient in the proper use of precision measuring equipment is an asset. The candidate should have good planning, organizational, analytical, interpersonal, decision-making, oral and written communication skills (bilingual in French and English preferred).
