Will it help!!

Hello All,

I'm after some advice! I have already completed the FIC some months ago and now I'm looking for something to add to my CV. I was thinking about the AOPA aerobatics course but do the airlines really care if you can loop the loop! I know it would improve my handling but I don't think it will help me get a job.

Last year I went to Oxford for the MCC, I was very impressed with standard of training and with the attitudes of the instructors. I'm now looking at going back for the JOC.

Is this a good move?

A good move Yes
But in the present climate (Jobs) wait until the upturn looks about to start then book the course.
The airlines like people who have taken the time and effort to do a JOC, although some like you to do theirs as part of their recruitment procedure.

Flying upside down while great fun, will be of less value than a JOC.

Thank you for the reply, I have decided to book next month just to keep up to speed. When things start to move I can always book a few hours in the sim just to bring me back up to standard!
