FAA A320 Type Rating or 737NG low hours job
Hello guys
i was wondering if someone who has FAA CPL, a 737NG TR or A320 TR and no Flight experience would get a job in some place...is this possible ? what you guys recommend ? thank you!!

DON'T buy a type rating unless you have a job written offer conditional upon you getting your own type rating.
Certainly not with the current number of experienced pilots about to be laid off.
Instructor rating will be of more value in the current climate.

I think IR is mandatory... but i mean..i'm not considering only the USA, there's any other place in the world that would pick up pilots with FAA CPL and a Type ?? what about ryanair ? i heard that they would pick up guys with FAA and give them one year to convert to IAA is this true ? what about working visas ? I mean having got FAA CPL would i be elegible to the cadet program at Ryan ?

First of all,
Ryanair accept JAA not FAA. They will only take high time Captains on specific contracts with an ICAO licence.
I have started line training on the A320 and I can tell you that the FAA type rating is quite a ridiculous training program compared to the JAA having an FAA myself, the step up when you start line training is huge. You get what you pay for, and although the JAA type rating is very expensive, the standard is high and its minimum 2 months, instead of 2-3 weeks for the FAA.

Well that's what i've been told..but that's not my point, i wanna know if having FAA CPL and a Boeing or Big bus Type i would get a job somewhere..i was thinking maybe go for the eagle jet thing after getting a TR...but i wanna make sure that it is a good choice..feel free to share your opnion! thank you !

It is rather competitive out there at the moment so I would think you need a JAR license to work in Europe (and a work permit).
By the way, I have done both the JAR CPL/IR and FAA ATPL flight tests and did not think the flight tests were harder over in Europe, even if they LOVE to think so over here.
But..... the JAR ATPL theory just never ends. Count on a year full time.
Don't know how the standard of the TRs compare though.
The FAA should be able to tell you where you can use an FAA license. Have you considred south America? I think you can do an easy conversion down there in most countries from an FAA license.
Otherwise I am pretty sure an FAA license should work on any N registered aircraft, regardless of where it is.
Who knows what will happen next year, but your best chance is probably to be up and running with you type rating (and line hours if you plan to go down that route) by spring next year when the season kicks off again.

Can tell you that Eagle jet does not have a 737ng programm for FAA pilots. This is because royal air marroc requires pilots to have done 6 take offs and landings with an airplane. FAA TR will not provide that, but JAA will.
I belive Eagle Jet is providing some other stuff for FAA (ICAO) guys for the 737 in the future, but let me tell you that with 500 hours on type at the current aviation climate will not gurantee you a job.

Yeap, i called eagle jet and they told me that FAA guys would have to go through base training with the company..so i think it's possible..i've been told also that the price would be increased due to the base training $$
