Urshtnme, I did the FAA/Casa ATPL conversion in the mid 90's, 3 written exams and a flight test in a Seneca. Spent a lot of money and never used it. Now in the UAE, not sure if it was all worth it. I do have an Aussie passport.

You should find plenty of GA job ads. For regionals, there are not much but if you google "airlines of australia" in wikipedia you should find some in the list.

For licence conversion, www.casa.gov.au and you should find the section.
