ATP to ATP-L
Hey there...Have a coupla questions for you guys. Have any US Pilots converted their licenses to an Aussie ATP-L?
I am a captain at a regional with dual (US and Aussie citizenship) and looking to go overseas either to Jetstar, Qantas, or possibly Cathay.
1/ Just wondering if anyone has been through it and knows how expensive the conversion is?
2/ Tried to apply on Cathay's website and it asked for passes in ATPL theory subjects. My understanding was that all you needed was an ICAO ATP to work at Cathay as they have US bases?
