unless you speak Russian i doubt you'd stand a chance. Too many ex-military natives.
Have you tried Kazakhstan?

Not quite true. Not too long ago there were ads on http://www.flightglobal.com and on http://www.aviationjobsearch.com regarding recruitment (via an agency) of ATR-rated FOs for an outfit in Russia. 6-month contract, hotel accommodation paid for if I recall. Since there is only one ATR operator in Russia so far (UTAir), the ad was quite transparent...

Cheers

In Russia, the largest operator with ATR 42/72 is UTAir (and at least they bought 3 last atr 72-200 from finnair/aero) , their vacancies homepage is:
http://www.utair.ru/ru/about/vacancy/vacancy_pilot/
Warning, this is only in russian, so you may write or call them, but I dont know are they consider foreigners.

Have you tried Finncom? It operates in Finland and has great number of captain vacancies here, but you might give also try, they may consider to hire some non-finnish first-officers also.

http://www.fc.fi/jobs/

And besides sending the operators mails, I recommend you CALL the ATR operator's HR people and try to meet them, it works usually much better.

You may also try Airlinair , it's an Air France feeder , and they are REALLY in need of F/O , some of my friends entered 3 months ago with a lot less than 540 Hours .

Regards

Why not try Precision Air in Tanzania. You will definately be in with a chance there. I know that they are always looking for guys. Dar Es Salaam can be alot of fun!!!

Good Luck.
